- Elliot is thrown into a cellar, where Mr. Robot confides in him about the sitcom fantasy as a mechanism to cope with the pain of assault.
- Agent Dom confronts Angela about her mysterious presence on the FBI's restricted floor. Just as Dom leaves, Angela completes the final command, an the femtocell is now in operation.
- Back in the cellar, Mr. Robot placates Elliot with the narrative of how he shot Tyrell the night of 5/9, using the gun that Darlene hid in the popcorn machine.
- Angela goes home to find Darlene at her door. She comes clean about covering up 5/9.
- Elliot is brought back to Ray's office to complete the server migration. While inside, he opens the site to public searches and traffic.
- Cisco, Trenton, and Mobley welcome Darlene to (yet undisclosed) interesting news on their laptop screen, back at Susan Jacobs' place.
- Elliot completes the chore. As Lone Star is abut to run Elliot back to his cell, Ray agrees to one last game of chess. Ray thanks Elliot for doing the right thing in ending his own conflict. Ray is shortly arrested.
- Angela confronts her dad about the Washington Township settlement with E Corps. He won't budge, but she already has the needed signatures. She merely spoke as a courtesy.
- The white supremacist inmates tell Elliot that a lot of Bitcoin was lost upon Ray's arrest. They threaten to have some future "one-on-one time."
- Angela asks Philip Price for a position in Risk Management. Price reveals that today (the 4th of July) is his (hidden) birthday. He invites her to celebrate with him, but in true nature with her quiet managed power of choice, she turns him down.
- The supremacists corner and beat Elliot. Mr. Robot takes his punches. As they're getting ready to rape him, in walks Leon, who slashes the four to death. He says "When you see Whiterose, say I did you good."
- Angela is coldly received at Risk Management. She tries to coyly rush her access, but her new boss knows just who she is and why she wants the new position.
- THE BIG SEASON TWO REVEAL: Krista has a meeting with Elliot, and asks him if he knows he's not staying at his mother's house. The illusion of her familiar settings is revealed against the jail sentence he's actually been serving in prison. He explains to his imaginary friend (us, the audience) how illusion is sometimes necessary to cope. He promises this will be the last time he keeps things from us.
